Drop-in & events

Community Support Volunteer

Help at our drop-in advice sessions, community events and activities. Support people to access information, feel welcome and navigate our services. No prior experience needed — we provide full training.

  • Friendly and patient

Education & Skills

English Conversation Partner

Support our practical English classes by having one-to-one or small group conversations. Help people build everyday confidence for appointments, school communication and work. No formal teaching experience needed.

  • No teaching qualification needed

Youth Activities Helper

Support our children's programmes — Little Champions martial arts, Pathfinders Scouts, arts clubs, folk dance and Tiny Humans family film nights. Help children feel safe, included and confident.

Operations

Admin & Communications

Help with day-to-day admin, social media content, newsletter writing or translation. Useful if you have skills in writing, design, digital tools or community languages. Some tasks can be done remotely.

Women's Wellbeing

Women's Group Facilitator

Support our women-led wellbeing sessions — pilates, yoga, peer support groups and cultural gatherings. Help create a safe, welcoming space where women can connect and feel supported.

  • Women-identified volunteers only
  • Fitness or wellness background a plus
  • DBS check required

Language support

Interpreter & Translator

Help community members communicate in Turkish, Kurdish, Arabic or other languages at advice sessions, events and appointments. Informal — no professional qualification required, but accuracy matters.
